These images could be showing how your Windows 10 home and app screens will look like

Back in the end of September, it became clear that Microsoft will be making what feels like yet another attempt at unifying its various platforms into a singular entity with Windows 10. So much so in fact that it literally pronounced Windows Phone dead – it's all Windows 10 now, whether we're talking a PC, laptop, tablet, or smartphone. The desktop strand of Windows 10 is currently in its public beta testing phase, allowing the PC crowd to take a peek at the new changes, but the mobile version has so far remained out of sight for the most part. A new image of unverified legitimacy (courtesy of Windows Phone Italy) seemingly changes that, for we're treated to both a tile-happy homescreen and an app drawer, both of which feature a full-blown background wallpaper. In case you're unaware, the latest version of Windows Phone (8.1) only allows for the background to fill the iconic tiles, not take a spot behind them, and the app drawer is not available for customization, either.

Obviously, these images could have been tampered with, so hold your horses for now – we should be hearing more about Windows 10 for mobile devices soon.
