The Sony Xperia S has visited the FCC
Thanks to a recent visit to the FCC by the Sony Xperia S, there is now hope that the latter device will be joining the Sony Xperia ion at AT&T. Revealed within those numerous pages in the FCC report is that the Xperia S will come with support for AT&T's 3G bands. Also on the device is support for Bluetooth 2.0, NFC, WiFi b/g/n, GPS and ANT+.Just because the Sony Xperia S supports AT&T's 3G bands doesn't mean that it will definitely be joining the carrier's Android lineup. But it does mean that AT&T customers can import the model to the States (paying the off-contract, of course). On the other hand, you can always sit back and see if the unit gets picked up by AT&T officially which would give you the opportunity to pay the subsidized price, assuming you have an upgrade to spare.source: FCC via AndroidandMencG1vNJzZmivp6x7sbTOp5yaqpWjrm%2BvzqZmp52nqHyUu82yZJGolae2onmyZq2iq5mpwG6SonxksJ2Rp7avs4x6i2aMo2KAiHnBmqWdq4%2BesXOCkm9v
