As part of its keynote at GDC (Game Developers Conference), the studio announced it would launch a new mobile game called Battle Breakers. The game will eventually make its debut on PC as well, but we are more interested in learning about the Android and iOS versions.

Battle Breakers is a tactical role-playing game (RPG) made with Unreal Engine 4. Epic Games calls it “a vibrant fantasy sci-fi cartoon adventure,” which allows players to recruit unique heroes and create teams of ninjas, knights, robots, or even talking dinosaurs (?!).

The game will be available for free and features cross-platform play across PC and mobile devices (Android and iOS). Those who pre-register to be notified when the game is available will receive a powerful in-game Dark Beastman hero at launch.

Speaking of pre-registration, this can only be done at Epic Game's dedicated website, which also requires an Epic ID. Android users are luckier since they will be able to pre-register directly on Google Play.

It's worth noting that Battle Breakers has already been soft-launched in the Philippines, so if you live in the area you can now give it a go. Epic Games says the game will be playable worldwide on Android and iOS devices “later this year.”
