@evleaks (one of the most reliable sources out there) has it that AT&T is currently testing a Samsung SM-G900A. Two different versions of this smartphone - SM-G900F and SM-G900S - appeared earlier this month in benchmarks, suggesting that it’s a device with a 2560 x 1440 pixels display and Android KitKat.
Since the 2K display wars have already begun - with China’s Vivo announcing its Xplay 3S smartphone today - it makes sense for Samsung to include a screen with this resolution in its next flagship handset. And, as all the latest rumors are striving to show, the company’s next big thing is almost surely the Galaxy S5.Now, we can’t say for certain that SM-G900A, SM-G900S and SM-G900F are Galaxy S5 variants. But that’s the most likely scenario anyway. Samsung probably doesn't want to put a
2K screen on anything else than the successor to the Galaxy S4 - at least not in the near future. The Galaxy S4 was launched by all major US carriers this year, and it’s expected from Samsung to also strike Galaxy S5 deals with all of them. We'll let you know when we uncover more details on this.source: @evleaks (Twitter)
