The China Consumers Association, a consumer protection group in China, said last week that it has been receiving reports from owners of the Apple iPhone 6s that their phones have been shutting down, even though half of the battery life remained. Apple says that the problem affects iPhone 6s units around the world, so its promise to replace defective batteries covers iPhone 6s models owned globally.
"Apple has determined that a very small number of iPhone 6s devices may unexpectedly shut down. This isn't a safety issue and only affects devices within a limited serial number range that were manufactured in September and October 2015."-Apple
