Apple's iPhone 8 Plus is a pretty great bargain at the low price of $400 with a 90-day warranty

With the iPhone 7 officially put to rest shortly after Apple's big product launch event earlier this month, the iPhone 8 has become the most affordable of its kind available through the company's e-store and in its brick and mortar locations. But as you may already know, it's not always wise to purchase stuff directly from the Cupertino-based tech giant. Especially older stuff. The iPhone 8 Plus, for instance, still costs $549 and up at Apple, but only $399.99 in refurbished condition at a 98.8 percent positively rated eBay seller named Cellfeee. Said seller vouches for the flawless functionality of the 5.5-inch units on sale right now, although you obviously can't expect it to match the standard manufacturer's warranty of either a brand-new or refurbished Apple device.

Still, you do get a 90-day warranty here, which is certainly better than nothing, and in case you're wondering, the certified refurbished iPhone 8 Plus sold with a 1-year warranty by Apple fetches a whopping $599 in a 256GB configuration. For 400 bucks, Cellfeee will instead hook you up with 64 gigs of internal storage space and let you choose between a GSM unlocked variant in a space gray color only and AT&T-locked units available in a snazzy red hue as part of the (Product) RED family.

Of course, the most important thing you need to keep in mind is these are pre-owned handsets exhibiting signs of wear like "scratches, scuffs, and minor nicks on the screen or body." They will also not be shipped in their original packaging, but they will come with fully certified Lightning cables and approved power adapters.

In terms of specs and features, the iPhone 8 Plus is no longer a powerhouse but it's not a pushover either, sporting a Retina IPS LCD panel with Full HD resolution, a classic Touch ID fingerprint scanner, versatile dual 12MP rear-facing camera system, and generous battery life in addition to iOS 13 software with two extra updates pretty much guaranteed.  View Full Bio
