Apple Pay Cash, the peer-to-peer mobile payment service that allows you to send and receive money in the Messages app recently was ranked the best of the bunch by Consumer Reports thanks to strong data authentication and privacy. Following up on an ad it released last month for the feature, Apple has just posted a new 15-second spot that will most likely end up interrupting your favorite prime time show on television.
The ad, titled "Dinner," is basically a video screenshot showing a conversation on Messages between two iOS users. One says that dinner is on him, and sends his buddy $55 (obviously they didn't eat at McDonald's). But the other guy says, no he's got it and sends $55 right back to the first guy. This is the new digital way to fight over the check. Back and forth, the pair exchange $55 payments. We have no idea which one ended up paying for dinner, but for some reason we just got hungry for dinner at Bolay. Anyway, while we run out to grab a bite, you can check out the ad by clicking on the video at the top of this story.
