A few days ago we showed you video starring mockups of the Apple iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Max. These models were produced by a 3D printer and are based on previously leaked schematics of the phones. Macotakara, the source of the first clip, has posted another video but this time it includes the sequel to the iPhone XR. In addition, the new video shows how the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Max will look in white as opposed to the black that they were wearing in the first video.

First things first. Even though there has been talk about Apple changing up the screen sizes for this year's iPhone models, that doesn't seem to be the case here. The screen sizes will be 6.5-inches for the iPhone 11 Max, 5.8-inches for the iPhone 11 and 6.1-inches for the iPhone 11R. The first two models will feature OLED panels while the 'more affordable' iPhone will sport an LCD display once again. What you can clearly see from the video is that the two OLED models will sport a triple-camera setup in the back while the LCD model has a dual-camera setup. The three cameras on the pricier units could include a primary sensor, one with an ultra-wide angle lens, and a Time-of-Flight (ToF) sensor. The latter is used for more accurate depth measurements that can improve certain photographic effects and AR applications.

Larger capacity batteries are expected for the 2019 iPhone models

Larger capacity batteries are expected for the 2019 units to support a new reverse wireless charging feature that has already been seen on the Huawei Mate 20 Pro and the Samsung Galaxy S10 line. This will allow the 2019 iPhones to be used as a wireless charging pad to replenish the batteries powering up a pair of AirPods or another compatible phone. Of course, the battery power used to charge the AirPods or another phone will come from the iPhone's battery. As a result, TF International analyst Ming-Chi Kuo expects the iPhone 11 Max to carry a battery in a range between 3491mAh and 3650mAh. The iPhone XS Max is equipped with a 3174mAh battery. Kuo expects Apple to place a 3189mAh-3322mAh battery in the iPhone 11, up sharply from the 2658mAh battery found in the iPhone XS. The iPhone with the longest battery life in the history of the device, the iPhone XR, currently is powered by a 2942mAh battery. Kuo says that if Apple decides to increase the size of the battery on the iPhone 11R, something that apparently has yet to be decided, the company would use a 3089mAh battery.

Speaking of the batteries expected to power up the 2019 iPhones, Apple will reportedly throw an 18W fast charger in the box. However, it does not appear that this will be the year that Apple decides to ditch the proprietary Lightning port for USB-C. A USB-C to Lighting cable will also be provided by Apple to those purchasing the new iPhones later this year, replacing the currently used USB-A to Lighting accessory. But don't fret USB-C fans, we could see Apple embrace this change for next year's models. Nonetheless, by including the fast charger with the phone, those purchasing the new models will save about $50. The chargers that are included in the current crop of iPhones weigh in at 5W.

We should see Apple introduce the 2019 iPhone models in September. All three will be powered by the 7nm Apple A13 SoC and will have iOS 13 pre-installed. Speaking of Apple's mobile operating system, we should learn much more about all of the new features that will be added during WWDC 2019. The company's annual developers conference will start on June 3rd.
